Welcome to the Emerald Aquatics Youth Swimming!

Emerald Aquatics is a USAS and USMS year around swim team located in Eugene, OR. EA offers high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of Emerald Aquatics is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to international competitor.

Mission: To inspire and enable our members to achieve excellence in life and in the sport of swimming.

Vision for the Future: To provide a comprehensive program that will give all ages of competitive swimmers the opportunity to pursue their goals and learn new skills. Our goal is to develop a program that has child, parent, and grandparent on the team at the same time!

Philosophy: Every swimmer can be a winner! Winning is more than first place in a race. Winning is accomplishing something you have never achieved before. Winning is upholding our standard of Fun, Focus and F-ort (effort). Honor your tEAm, sport, coach, self and community.

Swim Groups:

Pre-team: Practice 2x/week, 30 minutes each (generally for 5-17 year olds with little or no swimming experience)

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TRACK

Turtles: Practice 3x per week, 45 minutes each (generally for 6-8 years old)

Dolphins: Practice 3x per week, 1 hour (generally 8-10 years old)

Sharks: Practice 3x per week, 75 minutes each (generally 9-10 years old)

MIDDLE SCHOOL TRACK

Silver: Practice 3x per week, 90 minutes (6th-8th grade)

Gold: Practice 5x (+) per week, 90 minutes (6th-8th grade)

HIGH SCHOOL TRACK

Seniors: Practice 5-8x per week for 90 minutes (9th-12th grade) often includes dryland (conditioning, weights) and a couple of days of doubles (i.e. early morning and afternoon swims)

Master's College Student: Practice 3-6x per week, 60/90 minutes (18+/not a high school student)
